BAFANA BAFANA: Modise says he’s ready to go, if selected

Bafana Bafana midfielder Teko Modise says he is raring to go if selected for tomorrow's training match against Swaziland at Chatsworth Stadium (Kick-off 4pm).

Calls have been to rest Modise, as he has been playing way too much football in the past two years for club and country. It will be interesting what the call will be from the technical team, as the man seems jaded and is experiencing a dip in form.

He said the players are going all out with only a win in their minds for both games, including the friendly international match against Zimbabwe at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday night (kick-off at 8.30pm).

"I urge Bafana supporters to buy tickets now for the the game against Zimbabwe," said Modise. "We need all supporters to be there for us as we take on Swaziland at Chatsworth Stadium tomorrow and Zimbabwe on Wednesday.

"The Moses Mabhida Stadium has already shown that it attracts big crowds, so it would be wise for supporters to buy their tickets immediately to avoid disappointments. The Coach has shown confidence in us and we intend to reward him in the upcoming two games."

"We don't expect the games to be a walk in the park, but our game plan is a win and another win. I'm particualry happy with the encouragement I have received from the Coach and also his words of wisdom to us all in our preparations.
